We had snow over the weekend - not huge snow storm type of snow - just maybe 2 inches. Yesterday it wasn't that cold out so Arden and I ventured outside. We discovered the snow was actually perfect for making a snowman so we set forth on our task. We got the snowman built, found some acorns for eyes, got daddy to give us a carrot for the nose, and found sticks for the mouth and arms. Then Arden requested a necklace and scarf because you know every snowman needs a necklace! We got a necklace and scarf and then Arden decided we needed a crown and tu-tu - the girl loves her princesses, what can I say? So we made a snowman princess, minus the real tu-tu. Arden really wanted to bring out one of her real tu-tu's but I told her we could make one out of snow instead. Once we were done I asked her what we should name the snowman.
Me: Arden what is your snowman's name?
Arden: Princess Eric
Me: Hmmm, how about Princess Erica?
Arden: No Mommy, Princess Eric
So Princess Eric it is. Not sure where she even got the name Eric? Don't even know anyone by that name up here! At any rate she was very proud of her snowman.
