Birthday Pancake

On the morning of Arden's birthday I decided to make her a special breakfast so I set forth to make her the biggest pancake my pan would allow! I actually "borrowed" the idea from one of my friends - every birthday she makes her kids a giant pancake with fruit to decorate. I wasn't sure what Arden would think of it but I decorated with blueberries and bananas - two of Arden's favorites. When I put the pancake in front of her she just smiled and looked very excited. She didn't really know what to do with it and I had to show her that she could actually eat it. That got her going and between the two of us we ate the whole thing!
