David did his first triathlon of the season 2 weekends ago at the Philly Tri and ended up placing 2nd overall. This year he only competed in the sprint distance compared to last year he did the sprint on Saturday and the olympic distance on Sunday. Last year at this time I was huge and ready for Miss Arden to make her appearance! I was hoping the excitement of a triathlon (not to mention all the walking) would bring on labor. But alas my efforts were in vain.
This year Arden got to go watch her Daddy. This was her triathlon debut! She did like watching the bikes zoom by but I must admit that she was way more interested in the sticks that she found. When David finished and got his medal however she really thought the medal was quite interesting.
