The big birthday has come and gone and we are now on our way to toddler-hood! We had Arden's first birthday celebration the weekend before her actual birthday. David's mom was able to come in for the party and we had some of our neighbors and friends over to help celebrate. Arden did great, smashed the cupcake as she should and no melt-downs! I think she had so much fun because the big girls in the neighborhood were around to play.
I decided to go with a Ladybug theme and found a cute cupcake idea to make. Of course half-way through making the cupcakes I was wondering why in the world I decided to actually make them myself. But they did turn out very cute and the kids seemed to really like them. I actually thought they were quite tasty too!
Arden wasted no time tearing hers apart and taking a taste!
