Arden turned 6 months in January, my how time flies! Milestones that she has reached: she is able to sit up on her own, has started to crawl, can pull herself up, she is a busy little bee! We've decided that she doesn't actually love crawling, she does it because she has to at this point but would much prefer walking. This is actually a bit scary because she thinks she is bigger than she really is so she tries to let go after she pulls up or tries to walk and she just can't yet so we have lots of falls these days. Now I don't think many of the falls actually hurt that much but she sure does cry and I think it is because she is mad more than anything. She is a mess! Here are her 6 month stats from our latest doctors visit:
Weight = 18lbs 3oz (82%)
Height = 26.5 (68%)
Head = 90%
Still has a big ole head! She is a good little eater - loving her solid foods. Her favorites are pears and sweet potatoes. She has learned to "gag" as we tried to give her avocado one day - that didn't go over so well. So now sometimes when she just doesn't want something she "gags." It's pretty funny.
