Arriving Home

We made it home yesterday! Arden did great. She cried on the way to the car but fell asleep for the car ride thank goodness. Luckily we only live 10 minutes from the hospital.

We decided to let the dogs out first to come and see me since I had been gone all week. We knew that they would go crazy - which they did. Then we took Arden inside for the big event. The dogs weren't really interested at first - then they heard her make a noise and I think realized that hey something is actually in that car seat. Meli got really interested immediately. Kona was just so happy that I was home that I don't think he cared - ha ha!

My dad is staying an extra week to help out which is very nice. Here is Arden hanging out with Grandpa.

During dinner we tried out her bouncy seat for the first time. She loved the bear and kept staring at it all through dinner and only fussed right at the end.
