Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

We headed up to the pumpkin patch 2 weekends ago. We decided to go to the one up by Princeton again and got to visit with our friends that live there, Sarah and Jake. It turned out to be a beautiful Fall day in the northeast - perfect for pumpkin picking. This year proved to be much more entertaining for Arden as she picked up as many of the little pumpkins that she could and moved them from one spot to the other. This is a favorite activity of hers lately whether it is her farm animals at home or her washcloths - she moves one at a time back and forth from one spot to another. So the pumpkins were perfect for this activity. She did try to pick up some of the larger pumpkins which resulted in a few grunts from her which we though was pretty funny.

Family shot at the pumpkin patch. We put Arden down to check out all the pumpkins and she was more interested in the dirt. She kept sticking her fingers in the dirt and then eating it.

I showed her some of the apples on the trees and on the ground and immediately regretted this since she quickly picked one off the ground and tried to take a bite!
